Growing up in Alaska I was always exposed to Hockey. Seemed most of my friends played or fathers coached. it was always there so I never got into it much. I have moved a lot in my life. different states every few years, no not military, my mother just liked new places. Because of that I didn"t get into sports teams of any state. Back in October i reconnected with an old high school friend who is BIG into hockey, he started talking to me about the game, suggested i watch.. I was hooked, all it took was one Caps game. First game of the season in fact. The games would come on, I would text my friend to see slot machines online what the calls meant, the penalties, who each player was, there back grounds in the sport, I questioned him every game till I knew it all,, well almost all.. The Caps are unlike other teams they just really seem to be close knit and seem to read each other on the ice to get it done. There so exciting to watch, Im like a little old lady who wont miss there programs, I wont miss a game... I cant wait to see one up close in person,,, I am hooked to the best team in the NHL!
